BPAL-L Implementation in South Africa: Progress, Challenges, and Next Steps

Objectives:

This webinar will provide a comprehensive update on the implementation of the BPAL-L (Bedaquiline, Pretomanid, Linezolid, Levofloxacin) regimen for the treatment of drug-resistant TB (DR-TB) in South Africa. BPAL-L regimen has the potential to significantly improve treatment outcomes for DR-TB patients. This session will provide updates from the National TB Programme on the status of BPAL-L implementation, successes and challenges encountered. The session will discuss possible solutions needed to mitigate challenges. The webinar will include a Q&A session to address concerns from health workers directly involved in the implementation of BPaL-L.

Understand the prehospital and emergency management of snakebites and scorpion stings.
