Implementing Optimised Care for Mothers Living with HIV and Exposed Infants to Minimise Vertical Transmission

Objectives:

South Africa is committed to attaining the UNAIDS 95-95-95 targets to control the HIV epidemic by providing quality healthcare services using highly effective antiretroviral treatment (ART).
To support the achievement of this goal, the ART clinical guidelines have been updated to include more optimised treatment regimens for children, adolescents and adults, as well as pregnant women living with HIV/AIDS, TB and other common opportunistic infections.
Aim: The goal of this webinar series is to increase awareness about key changes in the 2023 ART Clinical Guidelines and improve healthcare worker knowledge on the use of optimised regimens for people living with HIV.
