Content related to the clinical approach to the patient who will be flown, what interventions and actions should be undertaken prior to HEMS arrival to allow for the fastest mobilisation of the patient to the receiving facility. How should the patient be packaged and what emergency kit should be available at the bedside. Specific management approaches for the medical and the trauma patient, the IHT and the primary case.
