National Guide lines on the Management of Hypertension in Adults at Primary Care Level

The main objectives of this guideline are to  achieve primary prevention of high blood pressure through an integrated risk management process by following a population approach, to achieve target level blood pressure by rational, effective, comprehensive management of hypertension and to  achieve  secondary  prevention  of  cardiovascular  disease,  cerebrovascular  disease, renal and retinal damage associated with hypertension through the application of an “at risk” approach.
