As of 27th February 2023, children 5 – 11 years old at risk of severe COVID disease will be eligible to receive two doses of the Comirnaty paediatric Vaccine® given with a minimum interval of 21 days. Children with chronic heart, respiratory, neurological, endocrine, kidney, liver, or gastrointestinal conditions, as well as immunosuppression (including asplenia or dysfunction on the spleen) and serious genetic abnormalities that affect a number of systems, will be eligible and should be offered vaccination.
