This document highlights the Five key strategic objectives or pillars were identified for scaling up quality integrated prevention of mother-to-child-transmission of HIV (PMTCT) services. These were designed to identify strategic challenges and determine relevant actions required for achieving the goals towards EMTCT. As a unit, these five pillars constitute best practice for EMTCT.
